Just a quick FYI for you guys.. I decided to try one of the Forum brand short shift adaptors for my 4th gen prelude just for the hell of it.. There has been much talk about how these don't really last or work or something..
I don't know about how the PSPEC or forbidden true short shifters work, but the Forum adaptor I purchased was a pretty decent part for the money (28 dollars or so). My shifting is a bit more crisp, and overall, I feel like I have more precise leverage to engage the gear that I want.
It took me about five minutes to install after i gathered all necessary tools and parts. I'm pretty pleased with it.. I just hope it ends up durable in the long run..
I know this sounds like a commercial, but I just thought I'd relieve some of the speculation people seem to be having. Good luck.
