I sold my 90 DX HB and the girl said she couldn't smog it. So i bought it back from her for $100 less than she paid. The smog guy said it was missing EGR valve and smog stuff and it wouldn't pass (numbers were to high). Funny thing is that the guy i bought it from had it smogged before i got it.
Anyway, it runs great and i'm not sure if i should spend the money to get it smogged and sell it or just keep it. If i keep it i don't have to smog at all so it won't cost me anything. So technically I could keep it and fix it up cause i don't need to drive it. I could actually put a swap in it since i don't have to smog but i would run into problems if i sold it (requires smog).
So, should i keep it? If so, should i save for a swap? Which engine should i go with? Keep in mind i'm have kids & a house so i'm not rich. I don't want to race or anything but i would like to make someone very surprized if they thought they were just gonna blow the doors off my little Hatch.
All opinions and ideas are welcome and don't worry you won't offend me.
