Transmission Slip

I don't know if any of you have a pepboys near where you live or have been to one but they have this one product that is supposed to stop transmission slipping it says just to add it in but i was wondering if it actually worked also what are some of the signs that your transmission is going out its kind of shifting hard and doing some weird shifting when i bought the truck the guy said that the guy he bought it from had already replaced it but he didn't know when is there anything you can add to it to help its life out any info on this would be appreciated thanks in advance for the posts

Most additives work very well on some vehicles, and hardly at all on others. Since it's only $10, you may as well try it.

Also, it depends on why it's slipping. If you have worn clutch packs or bands, it probably won't do anything.

if this doesn't work, give it a cap full of brake fluid. Not TO Much, just one. It will swell everything in the tranny up making it last a little longer. I did this on mine to make the 700r4 last a little longer!
