hello,
I just finished a b16a1 swap into 90 4dr lx and all the wiring checks out expept i am getting a code 6 flashing on the ecu, code 6 is the coolent temperature sensor(CTS). Does anyone know the correct ecu pins for the CTS just so I can recheck my wiring.
There are 2 wires going to the CTS, one goes to the ecu (pwo), is the other one a ground? I will check the resistance on the CTS to see if it is bad but i would like to make sure my wiring is gravy.
Thank u for the help

also, the idle was fine at start but when i began to warm up, the idle began to fluctuate, up down up down. When I plug up the hole in the inside of the throttle body ( idle air control?), it stays steady. Would that mean it needs a new tps? is it loosing vacume at the tps? Honda bond-it up? or replace it?

Did you swap the pins on the TPS? Also, the CTS is located on the side of the head, make sure it is plugged in to the right spot. The Pin for the CTS is in the same location for your lx PM5 ecu as it is for the PW0 ecu. But, if you still need the pin let me know...because i have diagrammed and completely routed every wire in a 4g to figure out what each pin and sensor goes to. I still have it recorded.
The CTS is also only a one-wire plug. I believe it is yellow/red off of the top of my head next to the dizzy (in front of it). I think the 2-wire plug you are thinking of is the one on the back of the block, am i right? That is the fan switch, and yes one of them is a ground. Actually, it is an entire open ground circuit. When the computer senses a temperature rise, it closes the circuit, making it a complete circuit, for the fan which makes it come on.
