Hi,
I am the unfortunate owner of a 2001 Infiniti QX4 Lemon. Already 40 days of warranty repair. Defective body joint weld. Numerous other problems. Dealerships that made repairs were: Troncalli Infiniti in Decatur, GA, and Marietta Infiniti in Marietta GA.
In December Infiniti told me they were considering a buyback because of all of my problems. Without looking at my vehicle again, they now say I have no problems.

LEmons can strike anywhere, anytime. DOn't worry, though, there are LAWS to protect you. Make sure you keep all the receipts. Threaten to sue them if they don't buy it back. If you have all the receipts, and it looks bad, a judge should side with you. I believe the law states any problem that occurs 3 times, if it is important. However, it every case is given its own look-over. If they won't buy back, the law should side with you (and go to different dealers, the current ones won't like you, especially if you take them for court expenses)
Good luck

You really shouldnt have a problem with a buy-back, especially with a proven model like the '01 QX4 (proven, meaning those which have been around for 1+ more years to allow proper removal of bugs, and also those with a reputable make). Logic seems to prove that the best way to accomplish this task would be to search for a viable dealer target, then send a barrage of threats and complaints until you get your way.
