Timing Belt

The dealer's Parts Dept. said that the timing belt 96aurora is a chain. I heard that it's recomended to change timing belts after about 70000miles. Do we/I have to worry about that ? My aurora runs quietly and smoothly with the 89000 miles that it has. The dealer said to leave it as it is, since the engine is working ok. hym...

The dealer is right. The Aurora V-8 has timing chains, not belts. The
timing chains do not have to be replaced on a regular schedule.
