i was wondering what the 0-60 times...were for various years/engines?
example....a 93 4.3 cpi vs a next generation 4.3 cpi..(95+)
and all the rest......4cyl/6cyl etc.
i ask this cause my truck blows away....civics/integras...and other
wanna be fast and furious rice burners....till about 60 mph....:P
and thats all i care about
after that...the speeding tickets are all theres :naughty:

I am pretty ashamed of how well my truck accelerates. I have a 2.2L auto (yes, the wost combination for acceleration) and I have gotten 17 seconds. It sucks.

why would you want to race rice burners?

You should be able to find all that info on Google.com, or just about any performance auto mag that does comparsions.

In most cities now they can still bust you for street racing even if you don't get past 60... so try keeping all the stoplight stuff on the race track, and keep it safe. You'll never get a ticket there

If you don't have a track close buy talk to the police force, and your city hall about opening up 1 road every so often for a race day
Keremeos BC Canada does this once a year, and it's a BIG hit.
Their City hall is pretty good, and would probably help advice yours if asked

Somehow I knew a response like that was iminent (although I wholeheartedly agree)

I'm not the only one on this forum that doesn't want to see anyone get in trouble with the law, or even worse hurt or kill someone

Kelowna BC also has a timed hill climb race kinda like Pikes Peak, called the Knox Mountian Hill Climb

If my hotrod is ready next year I might enter it.

Kelowna City hall would probably help advise your community as well

This thread is just stupid.

We drive trucks, not race cars.

Grow UP and thread closed.
