I raced a Pontiac Grand-Am, not sure what year, i'll find out tommorow, know its a V6, but also and automatic, , and to MY suprise i beat him by at least a bus. He might have caught up later on because we didn't race too long. Should i really be too excited. By the way i have a 93' Civic EXtremely stock.

eh, a kill is a kill. Would have been more impressive if it was a Grand Prix GTP, but then that would be more or less unbelievable than anything else.

You beat an overweight cow, congratulations. Unless you actually saw the V6 badge on the car, it was either a 2.4 Twin Cam or, if very new, a 2.2 Ecotec. Still, in a car that fat, its pretty much useless, not that the 3100 is really much better if its a V6 as you said. The only good use of the 60 degree V6's lies in either boosting it (89-90 Grand Prix GTP w/ McLaren/ASC 3.1 Turbo Intercooled) or the newer 3400 SFI which is decent in its own right.
A fat-ass car mated, and underpowered motor, and a half-way decent 4 speed auto. No wonder you won.

New is a relative term. I'm new to these boards, so all the posts are, to me, new. Odd how perception works like that, eh?

Thats a nice self centered perspective on things. First off I doubt anything you said to belittle that guy's kill was something we didn't know and couldn't already deduct ourselves. Next time you revive an old thread make your post more worthwhile.

The statement wasn't self-centered, it was a universal value being applied to a specific situation. Use your language properly.
Besides, next time you want to keep old threads alive, make sure you're not simultaneously bitching about old threads being kept alive.
