2001 v6 starter location

Need to know where is the starter located on a 2001 2.7 v6 and how hard is it to remove?

The starter is located toward the passenger side of the vehicle, close to the front of the engine,(I was able to see this, with the car on a hoist and being able to look at it from underneath the vechicle) it is in a pain in the @ss spot, A experienced mechanic took over 1 hour to remove and replace my girlfriends. It definately is not located in a very serviceable postition. Not knowing your mechanical skills, I can olny offer what I have told you above. Personally I would leave it to a mechanic or dealership to service.
