Hey all, new to the forum and am impressed! Here's my milage stuff:
Year: 2001 (Honda Passport)
Engine: 3.2
Mileage: 75000
problems: Have had 2 actual problems - bad Battery and coolant leak coming from that o-ring on the front (on the crossover manifold). With the leak, I went ahead and not only replaced the o-ring, but wound up taking off the entire intake plenum and fuel rails to replace all the coolant lines underneath along with the radiator hoses. The intake gaskets, t-stat and fuel injector o-rings got replaced too - kinda went a bit overboard that time!
some other maint stuff: regular oil changes 3000-5000 miles, recently went to full synthetic. xmission fluid changed at 68000. rear diff fluid changed 70000. coolant changed with above (about 72000). changed timing belt and plugs at about 63000. Think I'm about up to factory specs minus front bearing repack

New to the forum, everyone has been very helpful so far.
97 Rodeo LS 3.2 L 4X
153,147 miles
2" Calmini susp. lift, 31 X 10's, and a Carr light bar with four 100 W lamps on top. Bright.
No major repairs. Within the last 6 months new alt, battery, cv axles, t-belt, water pump, wheel bearings, leaf springs, and a very expensive side mirror.
My 93 Amigo XS bit the dust at 145k last summer. I am In the process of selling one of my 97 Rodeos with 157k to a friend. I'm down to my last (and best) Isuzu. The thing has been an absolute tank for what I have put it through. I think these things are great.

My rodeo has a check engine light on, a reduced power light, and tire pressure monitoring (TPM) light on.
The codes displayed are P1125, P1295, P1515, P1516, P0507, P0101.
The reduced power light slows it down to a crawl.

193,000 miles
Problems (in past year I've had it): rear diff. leak; CV joint; valve-lifter noise; broken ball joint; steering idler arm; valve-cover leak; numerous wiring problems; rust problems w/mechanicals (ex: door locks); PS pump leak; transmission slip (clogged filter); window tracks (3 of 4 stick); sunroof leak.
Basically, typical things considering its age and mileage.

120k mi.
- alternator (recall)
- starter replaced 5 years ago
- smaller issues like door locks (what a terrible design) and window switch failure
- had rebuilt tranny (who knows if it wasn't a smaller cause) recently
- power steering leak causing headaches at the present time.
I loved this thing as it was my first car, but ever since the tranny and smaller issues arose, I've lost faith in it. 13+ good years though. Now that I have infants, I'm afraid to drive such an unsafe vehicle (I ignored the crash test ratings for too long).

Just the normal wear and tear. Got new belts, hoses, spark plugs. Has an oil leak that's been there for 3+ years but isn't bad. Power steering fluid leak. Muffler rusted at the front and slides and needs to be reattached/replaced. Brake sensor computer needs replacing. That's about it. Like I said, normal wear and tear.
Glad to see so many Passports still out there with lots of miles and still running fine! We got winners!

Rodeo
year: 1993
3.2 V6
mileage: 298,000
1 owner :) Most recently replaced the spark plugs & wires & 2 coils + all of the hoses.
I have replaced the clutch twice & the shocks a few times too.
I love my rodeo and will drive it until it can go no more.
The stock tires, shocks, battery, plugs, wires & exhaust system was/is wonderful. I think I had it 6 years before replacing the battery. (once)
I changed the oil regularly (only Valvoline) until about a year ago. It leaks very little.
It ticks, but only gets louder when the fuel is low or I need to add oil.
The air conditioning is Cold!
only drawback are the door handles. The inside door handle from a rear passenger door came off in my hand, along with the ouside handle.
The rear tailgate is sensitive and won't open half the time! and the rear windshield wiper went crazy & I have since taken the fuse out, until it is necessary to replace.
I really 'wish' Isuzu would make a new Rodeo. I am about ready for a new one.

Year: 1997
Engine: 2.6L 4cyl
Mileage: around 130K
Any major problems: Had to replace the clutch after around 60K. Bought it at 50K. (used cars :disappoin ) Had to replace the fan clutch at about 75K. Got the timing belt and water pump while I was at it. Electric EGR valve went bad at a price of $150. Rear suspension is very weak. Steering is really loose. Had to replace some dash lights. Can a brother get a second cup holder and rear speaker cabinets big enough for 6x9's?! How about 5x7's? My escort had bigger speakers.
Update: Still got it, but the Subaru is getting the lion share of the miles now. I'm up to around 155k. I'm having to replace the radiator due to the engine running hot enough to shut the A/C off. I had to replace the clutch again after the fins of the one I put on broke. I let professionals due it this time. I'm glad I did.
The steering was getting dangerously loose and I took it to the shop. They showed me where the adjustment was to tighten it back up a bit.
I bought some Skyjacker Hydro7000 shocks for roughly $30 a piece and the difference is night and day. Great shocks. The back is stronger than the front now.
I think the EGR needs replaced again, but I'm in no hurry. The radiator is more important. Still need a second cup holder. Bought some better speakers to replace the stock ones.
The rubber strip on the drivers side door started falling off. I eventually took it the rest of the way off and later on glued it back on with double sided tape. Be careful with that stuff. You get one shot to put it on straight. Might be a two person job.

Great vehicle other than the tick (mobil Delvac is my fixit).
Fixed:
Radiator, starter,CD player died under warranty,O2 sensor, only 1 front brake job at 191.5k miles. I got my money out of the brakes didn't I?
Currently on some Bridgestone HL Alenza tires with 50k+
Oh yeah, a 50' tree fell on it 9 years ago and I ended up with a full paint job,new windows, hood and roof.
It still looks great.

Well just bought my second Isuzu. My first was a 80's or early 90 trooper. A square box with a 4 cylinder. The ugliest red paint ya ever saw. I put so many miles on this poor little car. When I finally traded for a Doge PU if I remember right had at least 245000. And had only regular maintenance.
Well today I stopped and looked at a 1997 that had engine noise when you drove it. The car lot sold it to me for 2200. It has 133114 on it. Ya think I should tell the guy at the lot that it wasn't the engine ?? But it was the muffler baffle rattling inside the muffler. Other than the muffler it is a cherry ride. Though the black paint is fading it was well maintained. O and guess what.... No engine tick.
Ill keep ya guys posted.

98 passport EX 186,000 none of which I put on the truck. I just bought it a few months ago.
Had to replace both front axels, all the ball joints, TPS, EGR, Idle Air Control, 4 O2 sensors, and some other sensor. Also recharged the AC.
However the truck is really clean and has been taken care of. No rust or any major body issues. It has great power (just as much as my 99 Taurus w/the 24 valve DOHC).
Looks like I'll have to replace the MAF sensor and the Knock Sensor soon. :shakehead

My lights kept blowing fuses too. I just put a bigger fuse in and now I have had no problems. But the damn brake pad on the drivers front wheel came off while I was driving the other day and I had to replace all the front brake parts, Rotors, pads, calipers. Pain in the but to deal with. Still the best $1500 I ever spent. Love this truck..

V6
245,000
Regular maintenance: Timing belt, clutch, brake pads, one set of front rotors, etc. But, problems? Zip, nothin', got no complaints. Has had a valve tick for 175,000 miles that comes and goes. It's my friend now. I'm in the process of replacing ball joints. Bought this demo in '95 with 2000 miles. So, one owner.

Yearly update:
195K
New water pump.
High idle currently under control, but I expect it to rear its ugly head anytime. Changed the ISV and TPS a couple times each trying to normalize the idle.
Original trans still shifting nicely.
