alright i got this 95gsx eclipse about 4 months ago, its been sitting for the most part, taking it out just up and down the street about once a week. anyways when i 1st got it i put new coils in it, plugs and wires. everything was fine then i went out 1 day and it would turn over but no spark or fuel, so just got done replacing the CAS, not i have spark, and fuel but the spark is VERY weak. i cant really even see it. (sure as hell can feel it though haha) i ran a obd 2 scan on it and nothing came up. what in the world could b the problem. like i said before, everythings there, its juet weak so i dont think its the ecu but i could b wrong. could some1 please help me out. thank. brian

Do you have the plugs gapped correctly?

yep everything gaped right. the spark is really weak at the coils and even weaker at the plugs, im thinking it has to be the coils. is it likely that they would go out in a 4month time span? mostly just sitting.

hummm. intresting mr watson.

the plugs/wires & coil packs are all brand new, right? factory oem spec? did you test thre ohm resistence in each coil pack? the cas wouldn't cause a weak spark only rotten idle or prevent the car from starting. have you checked the relay? or tested the power and ground at the wireharness where it meets the coilpack to see if its weak before it reaches the coilpack?

my first thought was gaped plugs. i'd double check those. keep us posted

nah i just replaced the cas because my dumb ass broke it taking the intake gear off when i was doin the water pump. just curious but what should the gap be? 16g, 55cc, boost set to 18psi, safc, full 3in exhaust and a couple other thing here and there?anyways no i havent checked the grounds and relays yet. will do and ill let you know. thanks, Brian
