Does anyone have a schematic for a door panel for an 1988 pontiac bonneville.
I want to take the panel off and i want a general idea on how to do it.
If you dont have a 1988 diagram any later models will be appreciated.

Gererally speaking, the fasteners on your 88 are in roughly the same location as shown in the pic from my 93. I do not think that there is a screw at the upper part of the door handle. You will have an additional T15 screw behind the door lock/handle trim. This trim is held on simply with Velcro. The push-in fasteners around the edge of the panel secure your cardboard door panel to the steel door. Be gentle so you don't damage the cardboard. Autozone sells a J-shaped tool for trim panel removal that would help.
If you have the seatbelt on the door, look for an additional screw or two where the panel goes around the bottom part. On the top of the door panel, there will be a cover around the seatbelt that once removed, will show two phillips screws that will need to be removed too.
I'll try to dig up a pic of my 90 which will be better than the above pic.
