Buying a G20 - HELP!!!!!

I am selling my 1994 Q45t to buy a more economical G20. What is the best year to get between 1992-1996? How about between the 1999-2001 models? Can someone tell me the differences?

the difference between the 99 and 00-02 models has to do with 5 more horsepower which came from a new muffler for the 00-02 model years. the new muffler also increased torque slightly. Other than that the wheel design is different for the 00-02 models. At one point the base model with cloth interior was dropped - i think it was 01. The biggest change for the 02 models was the sport package which adds a whole bunch of cosmetic changes. I'm sure there are a few other cosmetic changes - but, these are the major ones.

In addition to a different exhaust the 2000+ models come with a differt valvetrain configurating. That being roller rockers. This is only a factor if you want different cams later on.

the tranny also has different gears ratios. the 2000+ are a smidge faster off the line.
