computer sensors for 2002 neon

My check engine light keeps coming on and I had it checked out. The mechanic told me that it was showing a bad sensor in the transmission. He reset my car and the check engine light went off and the car drove fine for a few days. The engine light came on again on my way to work and this time the car acted like it didn't want to change gears. I then took my car to a transmission shop and they replaced an input and output sensor on the transmission. The car ran fine for a couple days but the engine light came on again and the car still acted like it didn't want to change gears. I took it to another mechanic who checked the car and could not find what is making the car's engine light come on. When I picked the car up from him on 3/5/05 the engine light was off and the car has been driving fine since.I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or knows what other sensors I could check.

i have and 01 neon brought it with 50,0000 have keep up with it and one day the light came one had it checked fluids were low, so i refilled and it came off a few days later it came back on had a tranmisson place check it they found nothing except on of my engine bolts are going bad light went off, flushed the trans fluid five hours later light is came back on..... dont know whats up with it but everyone says my car is good..... does anyone knw how to manually reset that swith.

nah really.......... who cares... it helped me out when yesterday when someone else gave me the link so im passing it on and trying to get help sense i have the same issue with my neon
