check the batt terminals for a good connection and its most of the time a ground.if that does not work then check the fuses but its some times something simple over looked.

So you say it might be the ground???

It could be, check all of your connections for any sign of corrosion (battery to starter, battery to ground, etc). If you see anything that even remotely looks suspicious...clean it. The best thing for that (if you don't have terminal cleaner) is a can of coke or pepsi. Just dip the terminals in and viola! Also, like 1g suggested, check all of your fuses.

Use pepsi...don't waste something as amazing as coke

Well I changed the terminals on the battery the other day and the ground cable was already old and it was hanged on to a little piece so I took it off and just put battery cables. I put like three battery cables but using them as ground and there only 8 gauge, u think that might be the problem.

Did you test the battery? What does 'not want to start' mean? Did it crank? Not crank at all? Weak? If you have a new battery, the alternator doesn't matter.. the car should start and run for quite a while on just battery power. Also, the thread topic is quite vague.
