I just called Napa and they are asking 60$ a piece for rotors and 60$ for good brake pads... Is that a bit steep?

damn i wish my rotors were 60 bucks, im going with the brand from england called ebc i think thats what they are called, after upgrading everything for a 17 inch tire from 16's i think brakes rotors and anything else i may need for the upgrade its gonna be close to 600dollars....but everyone i know with them says they are bad ass, better braking and hardly no brake dust and they last longer.and thease guys race with them so for day to day driving im sure they will be great.

The "albany" pads that 'zone sells are ok for day to day, but the $60 dollar ones I don't know. One of my wife's friends wanted pad put on her car, and insisted on the best possible, which were the top line before going to ceremic. I kept telling her she didn't need them but she wanted 'em, a week later she was complaining about all the dust and spueking they were creating so atleast I got the "i told you so" last laugh.
I just get their premium $20 pads for my daily driver (Buick) which work fine, expected amounts of dust. For my Z I go to my local independent and pay the extra couple of bucks for him to swindle factory replacements.

I have the autozone front rotors on my 99Z. I think they are the Amico brand. For a factory type replacement, they are great! If I remember right, they were about $35 ea. I replaced them after going through 3 sets of factory rotors when my car was still under warranty.
