2007 tiburon?

i've been hearin some stuff bout there beein a 2007 tiburon? RWD? but when i searched it up, all im gettin is the HCD8. but there r ppl sayin a 3.8 liter engine for the 07? but the HCD8 is only a 2.7 supercharged. so i dont think it's the 07 tiburon, just another hyundai sports car. but from wat i've seen, the exterior looks aite, but the interior i think is sorta crappy. on a scale of 1-10, i'd give it a 5 or 6. but im not sure, so any of u who know anythin, leave a comment, and leave some links, pics and wat not. that'd be tite

remeber that concpet came out when the delta/ alpine was jus gettin started to build real problem

the 3.3, and the 2.4 are teh next line of engines coming in for hyundai...
the rwd has been stated by hyundai ( i posted it here somwhere)
and teh sonata coupe is still rumors
but word is hyundai wants to make a new coupe... of some sort.. because theyre re-entering the world rally chamionship or something.. i forget teh details

Well, according to Motor Trend the 07 Tib is gonna be based on the HCD8, which makes me happy.

i dont want the HCD-8 to be the next tib. maybe some other kind of coupe by hyundai, but not the tib.

indeed a vert is suppose to come out.... BUT that was designed with the 03-05 tib.... WHO KNOWS wha will come out with the 07 tib...

old news.. it didnt even pass crash tests...... heavy as hell, and when they newly designed tib comes out, who knows what the convertible tib will look like.. if theres even one coming out

hyundai is so horrable giving alot of information out before the cars hit the show rooms. who knows.

the 2.4l cvvt will have 162hp @ 5800rpm, 164tq @4250rpm

the 3.3l cvvt will have 237HP @ 6000rpm, 228tq @ 3500rpm.

both will be all aluminum

nisco, as of 07 i thought that hyundai was abandoning FWD on ALL of their vheicles and going to RWD and AWD because of the 260+hp cars and the FWD platform not going to be able to handle it? Actualy, they barley managed to do FWD with the new azera coming out, 263 est hp and tested at at least 155mph shutoff.

All I can tell for sure is that they are coming out with a bigger tib engine for US market for as a part of their rebranding effort.
Yes, there is a rumor of putting lamda engine on it, which is a cost justifiable on their part. But I wouldn't want to trust lamda engine which had suffered some serious noise problems with their initial launch. At least not yet...
RWD is yet to be confirmed, is it really true that Hyundai announced it officially? That should take a complete redesigning... and I really doubt it will happen soon.
