What type of material should I use to re-direct my air intake. I have no room between the air intake and the thing that holds up the hood.

Inni.. take a lot at cardomain.com. There is a guy in there who used a 3" acura air intake pipe to redirect the air just the same way you want. Also, there are a lot of good ideas to implement.

I think this picture came from one of the guys at Alan's site www.teamswift.net the guy used aluminum tubing from a honda civic kit and squeezed the input end to fit the stock housing. There is a better picture and different route that will give you a better place for the intake filter at
