hey guys, i have a 1983 camaro that came with a stock 305. i have a 375 hp 350 i want to put in it but what do i do with everything being computerized. this is my first carberated car that have electronic everything..... newest car i have owned because i love the old raw hp and torque. when i drop the engine in i plan on doin away with all the emmission control garage the problem i see is at the carb. there are wires that i dont know if i can just unplug and but a holley 750 dual pumper on there, will that cause problems? basically how much work will is take to get it in there properly.

whats wrong with the motor thats in it, if you dont mind me asking. My car has went through that and to be honest, I'd rather it had stayed the way it was.

it is the stock engine with 180,000 miles, i put a 700r4 tranny with a b&m shift kit and a 4:11 posi rear. i have a 375 hp small block 350. i want to put it in but i am curious if i gcan jsut plug up vacuum lines and not use the O2 sensor and all that smog crap under the hood.

Don't see any reason why you can't. If you're doing away with the ECM all you'll need is either a vacuum advance dzzy or a independent ignition system like a MSD.

oh, with that 375hp and ratio, it would be extremely wise to have subfame connectors if you don't already.
