error code 26-28

Hey everyone, I have a 93 3.3 GT V-6 that doesnt seem to have the power it had last month. now starting to hesitate at 50 to 60mph or going up hill. error codes I get are 26-28. Haynes book says Quad driver module circuit.I believe something to do with transmission? what and where is this and can I replace it or needs the shop to do it? replaced mass airflow sensor 4 months ago for other problem. is there anything else that would be giving me these codes?thanks for the help

Yes this has to do with your tranny unfortantly this may not be something you will be able to diagnose. It could be a faulty TCC solenoid or faulty ECM or a bad connection or a faulty 3rd gear switch. Your best bet is to bring it to a tranny specialist and have then scan it and monitor your tranny function. I am sure they will find the problem. Good luck

hey John, I took it to the shop and they unpluged the lock up torque converter and it seems to run fine, is this alright? should I go somewhere else to get it fixed?
