sb 350 mounting?

hey i gotta question, i've been told that all the small block 350 engine mounts are the same no matter what year....is that true :eek7:
the reason is, is that i'm dropping one into my 240Z and i need it to be almost on the firewall for maximum weight distribution, and i got a good price on a 97 sb 350.

The mounting holes on the blocks are the same regardless of year. The rubber mounts themselves changed depending on what chassis they were in, but for the most part they were all the same.

Some blocks have extra holes for different applications, but the standard chevy mount holes will be there on any block.

The common conversion kits for the Z-cars will fit any small block.
