I've been a member here for quite a while and it's about time I congratulated all of you on the great work you all do. I'm totally blown away from a lot of the work I've seen here and it's about time I stopped lurking in the shadows.

Anyway, I thought i'd share my latest build with you all. It's the fujimi Veilside Rx8 kit with a few add on. I scratch built a checkered plate for the floor, added CF decals and Eduart Sparco PE harnesses. The colour is Holts Mean Green. I hope you like it.

Cheers

Peter

Hi,

well done, maybe you can show us some more pics.

Is the body mounted correct on the chassis?? The front should sit a little bit lower, especially when you see the gap between front wheel and fender.

Thanks guys, yeah, i had a bit of a problem with the ride height as can be seen. I'm still trying to get it right, maybe i'll post some more pics when I do. In the meanwhile, here is a link to more photos and the Works in Progress with interior shots

Peter. I have been reading and following your build in another forum, and I have to say this car is FANTASTIC! The interior, with the diamond pattern floor along with a cd sicking out of the cd changer, the scratchbuilt roll cage, all came out great!

Its perfect and the paint is flawless. I look forward to seeing your other and future work. Please post progress threads here too as we can all learn a lot from your tutorials!

Thanks SLK, I'll try to do just that with my next build. blubaja the CF is from Tamiya. I think it's in 1/20 scale but I liked the way it looked so i stuck to it.

Cheers

Very understated imo :lol2:

Great finish and excelent details on the interior, shame the small windows restict the view, could do with a convertible top!!!!!!!!

Note to brain :naughty: worth investigating.

keep up the good work.
