not really, Sean told me about it by email a few months ago. Its of no surprise. The car was a good implementation. Ive spoken to Igor through msn and he wanted to pursue this with a GTR.

Of course its no surprise to you, you already had first hand knowledge. Why did you even post that comment, like we are supposed to be in awe?

No. Simply that you could have expected it. In the 350z forum, Igor hinted of a surprise in a thread, which very few people caught up on. He wanted to do the World challenge with the Z at first, but a GTR is more apt for a race like that. The N1 was a joint effort, established to win the race solely. No need for harsh replies.

Does anybody know which class the R34 will run? I hope it's the gt because I would love to see a SKyline take on the Viper :)

I know there is a time limit on Race Cars. :smokin: Too bad he'll probably have to export it :disappoin (unless RB gets the rights to import Skylines) :eek7:

The R34 will run in GT in World Challenge.
Igors R34 was imported permanently as a race car. It was built as a race car. It is a race car. It was imported and reported to the DOT and EPA as a race car.

Sean,
It's me, Tim, from MySpace.com. Is there anyway I can do the same with mine? It's about to get a 550-600HP tune in Japan when I get back there. I already have an R-tune suspension. Upgraded brakes are next. What do I need to do to establish it as a permanent race car? Do I have to have a roll cage? Race fuel cell? Thanking you in advance for any help.

Igors car was built by Nissan/Nismo as a race car. It had a proven race history, and items that made it impossible to turn it back into a street car.
In other words, its really difficult to take a street car and "turn" it into a race car. It took about 6 months to get the approval on Igors car. Symbolic Motorcars - an exotic car seller - were the company that imported the car. They have a lot of experience importing race cars.
Time and money. Its possible to do, but you would have to get everything done in Japan prior to it getting to the states.

thanks, sean. i'll try to work with nissan red stage in okinawa. they have performance options for the GTR's and maybe i can get some paperwork from them stating that is a full race car built by them and race a couple of times up a Nago just to build up some race history. wish me luck. i'll contact SM too.
