problem with my 206, need advise

i have 2 problem with my 206XS. When i ON my engine be4 starting it, there is a "STOP" sign just below the RPM meter. waited forwhile, and the STOP light still on, until when i start my engine then it goes off. is that normal? cos i just bought this car about 3 days ago, dint notice that "STOP" sign until today.

2nd problem is, i was moving about 40 km/h and the engine just died off.

Hello,firstly-yeah that's normal,secondly did the electrics all shut off to?or was it that the engine only died?Keep an eye on it to see if it happens again.....

i feel sad when i read on that news. i just bought about a week ago.. :(

It seems like it's the uk models,same with the 307's too........hope ya get it sorted. :)
