99% of all car electronics use 12v power, because that's what the car battery is. So when the power says to use a fuse.. use any fuse that's not being used by the engine that supplies 12 volts. Make sense?

Run power from your cig lighter, your radio, or straight form the battery. As long as its Red (+), it's good

If he is doing an underbody kit he better have a switch and NOT wire it DIRECTLY to the cig lighter.
Im assuming he isnt a complete moron and is using a switch though(but you can never be to sure)
When i installed mine 2 summers ago i ran the power from the amp to the wireless box(as it had a wireless remote). If you have an amp in your trunk i would go that way. Then you can run the wires through the small hole under the spare tire and keep everything in the trunk.

also hope your smart enough to know you can make a switch out of the ground wire also.

Simply run the 12 volt power cable with the inline fuse to the battery run the other end to a switch then run a power cable from your neons to the switch also, once you flip the switch they will turn on and off, as for the ground wire or black wire simply connect it anywhere on the cars frame.

Thats what I have. Used to be to the cig lighter. One of the wires under the car got spliced,a dn shorted oout the control box. Melted the inline fuse, and the control box caught fire. Their LEDs. I rewired all the underbodies, so there is constant +, and - is to the car. There is a switch under the cruise control to the left of the steering wheel, that turns on and off. Lights can be on when the car is off, and everything is hidden and looking good. Its all good.
