Leaking Antifreeze

My 88 chevy is leaking anti freeze drop by drop some where from the middle of the engine i got under there and looked but couldn't find anything i just bought it and i'm scared it might be a cracked block or could it just be a hose thanks

Could be a freeze plug thats leaking.

these were also noted for intake manifold gaskets, look at all 4 corners where they meet the heads, could be leaking here and running down the engine

88 would probably be the freeze plug above the starter. I have had to change mine in both trucks

Is it complicated to replace the freeze plug i was under the engine yesterday but i couldn't see it is it near the oil filter thanks for the replys

Have you checked your water pump and what model is your car. On most chevy models if front wheel drive are in the back of the engine.

yes there is a freeze plug above the oil filter. this is a 350 right? either engine it has has one above the filter.
You knock the old one out with a long chisel or something and hen pull it out. I replaced all of mine with the expanding rubber type that screw in.

If I remember correctly theirs a total of 11 freeze plugs, 3 different sizes located all around the block, front, back and sides. The most common one to corrode out first are the two above the water pumps. I've pried them out with a screwdriver and replaced them with brass ones with some sealing goop. Hammer them in with a good fitting socket.
