I Have A 95 Olds Aurora. Yesterday My Car Ran Fine Today It Wont Come On At All...i Turn The Key. I Dont Hear The Engine Turning Over At All. I Just Hear A Clicking Noise, Just Like If You Put Your Car In Drive Or Reverse And Tried To Start It. Ive Checked All The Electrical Connetions And Found Nothing Out Of Order. My Car Has 163,000 Miles On It And Ive Heard That When Cars Get Older Sometimes It Will Think That The Car Is Slighty In Gear And Wont Let The Car Start. Any Truth To That? Any Help Or Advice Would Be Appriciated...

Im Going To Try The Starter Relay But Im Pretty Shure There Is Three Of Them, Witch One Is Related To The Starter Directly Or Would It Be Smarter To Replace All Three Of Them?

actually thats what Im working on right now, there is three relays underneath the cruise control things in the engine bay, and Im calling the dealer tomorrow to figure out which one is which. So that i dont go through the trouble of taking them all out and testing them. So hopefully this is what is causing my problem.

well i've been talking to some GM mechanics and I have one more thing to check out. I have to do a troubleshoot on the theft deterrent relay to see if the connection in the relay is actually bad, cause even if the relay clicks it may not have a good connection do to corrosion. If that doesn't do it then the theft derrent module is the next thing. If that doesn't do it then its the PCM that just needs to be reflashed and if that doesn't do it Im screwed cause that is everything the books, mechanics, have told me to do. but I have an idea what it might be. We'll see IM working on it here in a while after some reading in the book.
