huh?

If you don't like the MPG of the Rodeo trade it for Civic or the likes.

And from the Please Read before posting files:

When posting a topic please use a descriptive subject line like: “98 Rodeo hard to start”; please don’t use subject lines like: “Help!”.

I have an Import Mechanic/friend, that my parents went to high school with; he's been a mechanic for some 25-30yrs now, specializing in Imports only. He once loved the Beetles/VW's of the 60-70's, they were the best car per his opinion.

Not anymore; he wouldn't give you .02 for one now. This is a guy who tore the frames down and rebuilt them long after they'd rusted through, cause he believed their engines would go forever with very few issues.

I just recently asked him, not too long ago, which "cars" he saw less of, and which ones were bulletproof. His opinion was Honda accords, Civics, or Toyota Corolla, or Camry.

Sometimes trading a vehicle for better MPG, doesn't mean trading for better quality. What I mean is, sometimes trading for the better $$ up front for gas, can mean terrible headaches later if you should end up with a not-so-reliable car.

My .02, if this truck's been good and reliable, think hard before trading - and if you do, stick with Honda or Toyota.
