This is my first post please forgive any errors .
I have had this Van for about 6 months and have not got to drive it very far due to this problem ! Van stalls while driving and will not start for about an hour, starts and runs for a short time and quits again !
Fuel pump filter and all lines have been replaced still have the problem !
When this happens I depress the valve on the fuel rack and get air not fuel !
I am at my whits end , can anyone help me ?
I have spent a small fortune on fixing up this Van and can't quit now !
HELP

Wow, that's a toughie. I would speculate that the fuel pump is sucking in air from somewhere. Is this engine throttle-body or MPI? If its a throttle-body type, look to the injector, especially if you get a stall when accelerating. If it is MPI, try the pump first.

Hope this helps a little.

Thanks for you reply.
The engine is a 3.3 L with a throttle body that has been cleaned, when it was running injector cleaner was in the tank.I have just tried some water remover in the tank to see if this helps will post results .

did you check for fault codes you may have a bad cam or crank sensor need more info when it quits do you loose fuel pressure or spark or both does it slowly die out or is it like turning key off

Hi !
When it stalls it is like you are running out of gas,it sputters and back fires then dies, I have not been able to get fault codes with the key operation.
I have been driving the van for a day without stalling after putting water remover in the tank (short trips) to and from town ! If this was or is a water problem I don't know where it came from and I have used gas line antifreeze since the tank and fuel pump replacement !I will take a longer drive to-morrow (fingers crossed) and see what happens .
Thanks for the post
Update !
Problem not solved !
I have been driving the van about 2 week since I put water remover in the tank , thought it was fixed (wrong ) It is back to the same problem .
