im pondering maybe making a vid or two of me racing the truck :icon16: not as a "oooh cool" but more of a comic relief type thing. what do ya guys think?

ultimately its decided by me, but majority of votes is a good motivator. im just gauging interest, whether it'd be worth the effort. so far it looks like it is.

My friend has a ford ranger. And there used to be this spot of the school parking lot that wasn't finished..so it was just dirt and stuff. So I'd get in the back of his truck and he'd go up there and do donuts and shit. It's so cool to lay down and just look straight up and watch the sky spin around.

hmmmmn let mee see..His Ford Ranger utlilizes the Same 2.3L I-4 from the Ford Mustang.......Yeah oam sure his 88HP beast is gonna beat me...He probally(???) weighs more too.....Shift kit would make things change but if unless hes running to 60MPH in under 8 seconds he aint beaten me:)

last time i did a timed run.....i got a 0-60 time of 8.69 and a quarter mile 17.4

burntrice...the 2.3 out of the mustang utilizes 1 spark plug per cylinder. my engine uses 2. its rated at 100hp, with custom intake, full exhaust, 4:10s and a shiftkit, i should be pullin about 88-90rwhp. im trying to get it dyno'd soon. ive raced against a mid-90s v6 stang vert, which was a stick, and i was pullin on him (very slowly, but noticeable) up to 60ish, where there is a dead spot in my gears (too high for 2nd, too low for 3rd) then we were about even to 80, then i run out of juice.

EDIT: i tell ya what, come down here to Fremont CA and i will race you. if you do happen to win, you can race my fiero :)

No offense, but that is slower than you should be...my Honda ran a 17.4 the first time I ever went to a track...
