What to know when purchasing a 2002 PA Ultra

A 2002 PA ultra is one of the options we are looking at for our next purchase. It is a very seductive car with after market chrome wheels, moon roof, rear sensing.... all the stuff, pearl white with smoked windows. It is a very attractive car. But trying not to be blinded by the light. It is not a low mileage vehicle, it has 63kmiles, even though it doesn't look its age. The miles really bothers me, one of the reasons we are considering another vehicle is both are vehicles are hovering around 100kmiles.
I searched here for Supercharger problems and found none, that is a good thing, I guess. Most of the problems seem to be electrical, what else is new.
There is a $1600 deduct for miles and the Edmunds high book is right at $18,000. At one time they had it advertised at $18,995. I would usually shoot for about $2000 less than that but you never know.
My goal was to have one car. Now we have a nice summer car that won't go an inch in the winter and a winter car that you don't want to travel to far in because it isn't terribly comfortable. This system does keep high miles off of one vehicle but it has all the expense and tradeoffs that go with the territory.
Any ideas on things I may not be considering, like high maintenance cost, a PA being a horrible car in some situations or problems with all the toys we want on our vehicles, anything that you think would be helpful.
Thanks
Barry

Well, if you think about, 63K isn't all that bad. Even tho it's an '02, It still could have been purchased Sept. of '01 making it 4 years old, thus 15,750 miles per year average.
That said, give it thorough look, pull the dip sticks: are the fluids clean? Is the trans fluid brown and smells burnt? Is there a service history available? Sometimes you can get lucky and the owner may have had it serviced @ the dealer they bought it from. Any visable leaks/stains? Just attention to htses little details can tell you alot about how the vehicle has lived it's life before getting to you.
Another option is to have it inspected.
All things aside, yes, electircal issues. But as many as I've had with my '87 PA, I will not let the car go, it has NEVER left me stranded.
