Another simpleton question, I`ve done a search on "Bleeding Cooling System" a lot of threads indicating that it needs to be done, did not see any saying how. A nut on thermostat house and one on top of tube coming out of waterpump to heater line, would I bleed it after thermo, opens, and car running or shut motor down bleed, then restart and continue doing same until all air removed. Thanks to All!!

OK I just threw caution to the wind, turned the little 7mm stud, with car running, low and behold, air, then steam. Think now all I`ll need is somemore coolant and repeat the process. Thanks for the prior threads on cooling system bleeding.

You may have to repeat a few times to get all the air.

I have had good results with front of car on ramps, take the bleed plugs out and fill as far as you can. Close bleeders. Start engine with Cap off, run until stat opens, and then top off. Open (just crack) bleeders at this point (carefully cause the AF is hot! and let some more air out. Put The cap on and overfill the bottle by about 2-3 ". Take the car for a drive preferabley up and down steep hills. This will allow most of the air to come out thru the bottle and the extra AF in bottle will replace the air.
