Thanks man, its been a while. But I keep looking through every once in a while, I see these guys trying to whore it up, and thought that I, one of the few post-whores hopefully remembered around here, should come back and check out whats goin on and offer some of my advice, however minute it may be.

Nice. Now paint it. Yellow, or red.
I'm working on the paint for it, my uncle lives in Seattle and restores cars for a living, so I know he knows how to paint, or at least have a few hookups in the area. As for color, its going to be a darker charcoal color, much like it is now, only glossy and purdy :naughty: .

very sweet and clean :) i'm repainting mine the stock color, not darker though because I live in FL and it already gets hot enough in a dark car in the summer time :)

okay, duh....
As for the meet, Greg mentioned it, and we were discussing plans for my big b20 swap, and I was still wondering if its alright if I have the motor shipped to your place, and then bring with me all the necessary extras, and when I get down there, one night a few guys can get together and help me with my swap. Its up to you since its your house, and up to the guys secondly, I dont know how many of them would want to help me. So if you peep this Amy, hit me up with a PM or get my number from Greg or give me yours or something so we can talk about this all.

i just saw that in another thread. we're opening our shop. things are changing. if i have it my way, we'll be meeting up before aug. i don't care if you do your swap here. but i think you're dooming yourself if you pick aug 13th. you know how it is. we'll all sit up talking until the wee hrs and nothing will get done. in aug we'll be meeting here and going to bend then back here. i'm thinking maybe we should pick another time (at your convience) and people can meet up with the sole purpose to do your swap.

like maybe sept. gta and miss gta will most likely be here early sept for vic's b-day. i dunno. let me know your schedule.

scott has been calling talking about a swap. now he's calling saying he's got all the $$$ and to get it ordered. he wants to get it all done in 2-3 weeks. we created a monster, check this list out:

LSD tranny
new clutch
new timing belt
coilovers
rear disc brakes
short throw shifter
racing seats (his seat finally broke)

I actually did just paint over them, it started out as an overspray error, but then I kinda liked the way it looked. I can still see the turn signals during the day in the bright sun, so I dont think Ill have a problem with any police officers, at least I hope not anyways. I dont drive it like its fast anymore, because I know its not :uhoh: But thats alright, Im hoping to attract as little attention to it as possible for now.

damn man ur rattle job looks alot better than mine, im sure you sanded and took your time. I taped the night before and then sprayed the next day in like 1 1/2 hours. No sanding involved lol.

Actually, I really shouldnt admit this, I didnt tape anything off, I didnt sand most of it, I sanded the hood because that was really looking horrible, but the rest of it, without washing the car before or anything, I just did a really quick respray of the entire body, took me about an hour and I was done. :evillol:
