ok how much would it cost to import an s2000? i heard motorex can import cars but ive heard them do skylines do they do any cars? i also heard that they are the only ones that can legally do it. is this true? how long and how much money will it take to import an s2000 and legalize it? thanks

importing an s2000 would probably run double the cost of the US models.
why on earth would you even want to import them? By importing one, you'd make more sacrifices and spend twice as much + wait half a year.

i will not be importing now god now i new it would be to much. im waiting till the car goes down to about 15 *cough* will take forever for the price to go down that far *cough*

why would you want to import an s2000? it would cost 15-20 grand just to get it here and legalize it let alone cost of the car.

Motorex is not the only company that imports vehicels. All you need is a licensed RI(which means registerd importer) and I california alone there are 8. Also the car must be on the list of cars that are approved by some government agency, here is a link to the list http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/rules/import/ELIG081905.html
If the care is not on that list then the RI must be willing to pettition the DOT and modifiy the car to comply with emissions and crash saftey rules. This alone takes several thousands of dollars. There is also another way of importing. When you purchase the vehicle over seas, ask the dealler to completly dismantle the vehicle. this way when All the RI has to do is reassmeble the car and register it as a kit car.
