Bleeding Brakes with ABS

Greetings!

Can someone recommend the proper method and sequence for bleeding the brakes on a Pontiac van? I've seen mention of using a vacuum bleeder.

Will gravity feed flush most of the fluid out?

I will likely do a vacuum bleed versus 'two man' bleed to avoid problems with the spool going off center and triggering a 'hydraulic brake fail' problem.

I had this happen while bleeding the brakes on my 1978 Dodge when the spool in the proportioning valve stuck, cutting off most of the fluid pressure to the front brakes.

I have bled brakes on ABS systems with the standard method with no problems. The key is to make sure the master cylinder does not go dry. If you decide to bleed the brakes no matter which method you use start with the wheel the furthest from the master cylinder, Right Rear and work your way around. The same would apply with the vacuum method.
