3.3L Caravan runs on 4 cylinders ....update

A while back I put my problem out there and we couldn't solve it. The engine just died while doing about 30 mph and when cranked would only run on 4 cylinders. From advice on the forum I replaced the fuel pump, cam sensor, crank sensor, coil pack, wires & plugs, cam chain and sprockets, computer, fuel filter and injectors, I did a compression test and found 5 & 6 were bad so I pulled the heads and found all the exhaust valves were badly burned so I sent in the heads and had the valves replaced and the heads skimmed, still she would only run on 4 cylinders. I have now found the cause ... can you believe this ....
The crankshaft broke in half ?????? anyone ever hear of this before ?

Yes, I've heard of it and seen it. I saw pistons and rods sticking out the side of blocks. I am surprised the engine didn't knock while it was running on 4 cylinders.
