Hi there. Ive got a 90 Tbird Lx, and while I was at a party last night, someone noticed my drivers side tailight was out (the outer one, not the one on the trunk lid). After about 25 mins. of dicking around with it, I still had no Idea what was wrong with it. The bulb's not burnt out, no fuses are popped, and it seems the wires are all intact in and around the trunk. If anyone has any suggestions at all, please let me know, I really have no idea.

Replace the bulb with the one from the other side or a known good one. If the bulb still doesn't light up, use a test light or voltmeter to see if you have 12V at the socket when the lights are on. Be sure the clip lead from the test light or common lead from the voltmeter is connected to a good ground source (not to a painted surface). If you have 12V to one of the wires of the socket then either the socket isn't making good contact to the bulb or you have a bad ground connection to the other wire of the socket. Let me know how you make out with this info as there are a few other things you can try if you still can't figure it out.
