You did a really nice job but it doesn't look like Jada gave you much to work with, that car seems out of proportion

Jock46:
I used normal color spray cans from tamiya and finished with one coat of "pearl clear" also from tamiya.
nosliw2004:
what do you mean with "its hella".
Since I come from the Netherlands I don't know this expression.

No worries. I live in the US and I dont even know what "its hella" means.

Looks good. Is that pinstripe tape seperating the silver and blue?

The rims make it look like crap.

If you dont have anything worth reading, dont post at all.

It looks fantastic. I must agree it seems squashed horizontally some how though; nevertheless, nice Paint work.

he's right thought, should have kep the old rims and incorporated gold in the theme, instead of silver. those rims arent my first choice, but the overall grade is a 9/10, paint is a 10/10

is that paint from a spray can? that is crazy.

About the wheels. I used chrome wheels because I wanted to do something different. All the subaru's you see they have golden wheels.
And about the size: the chrome wheels are just as big as the golden ones.

What is crazy about paint from a spray can?

my paint doesnt come out that good from a can. whats your process, wetsand between every coat? what grit paper? how many coats of paint? how many coats of clear?

nomadgamer:
My paint process:
1) wetsand the body
2) primer by tamiya
3) 2 or 3 layers of paint also by tamiya
4) one layer of "pearl clear" or normal clear coat also tamiya
between layers I don't sand it.
Always watch the temperature, it must be about 20 degrees celcius.
Good shaking of the cans.
Spray with even strokes holding can about 1" (25 cm) from work.
I hope this will help you next time.
