I know this may be some what of a re-post, But i really dident find what i wanted by searching. Well my truck 93 K1500 is in need of some new shocks. I drive on and off road and willing to pay some money for nice shocks. Right now im looking at Monroe Gas Magnums they sound pretty good. Anyone got any advice on good shocks for my situation or have Gas Magnums?

This post is a few days old but I'll try to help. Try out some Rancho RS9000X series adjustable shocks. They are externally adjustable for stiffness requirements, or you can buy a control module and put it in your cab, that way you can control the stiffness of your shocks on-the-fly from inside the cab. The module is like 140, and the shocks are like 80 each but well worth it. If it's too much to spend look at Edelbrock IAS shocks. I'm recommending adjustable ones since you said youdrive both on and off-road a lot. (assuming this anyways). By the way, the module is a remote that hooks to your shocks electronically, I think.
