i have a 99 blazer and whenever i drive it on the freeway or when the wind is blowing, i can hear air coming in from the drivers side door. its like there is someplace that is not sealed and air is coming in. please help.

You probably have worn out door pins and bushings causing the door to not seal properly.

do you have to take off the whole door to replace that?

yes, to do it properly.

Have a friend with you too to help you.

are you mostly sure about it being my door pins and stuff? or could it be just that i need to buy weathering strips and cover by my door. cause i might have to bring it into a repair place cause i dont want to screw anything up.

could be that, but first check if that door shuts squarely.

well...my door seems to not be shutting squarely and when i go to open my door, it seems as if it was never closed. like the latch does not catch or something. and by the way, i really appreciate your help.

Check and lube your latch assembly.

Also, the door not latching properly is another sign of slightly worn door pins.
