civic hb gets butt kicked

me and a buddy of mine were going to Leroy a town about 45 min away from where i live. we get off the interstate to get gas at this little farm town. we pull into a local hucks and start to fill up my friends 2002 monty carlo.[not exactely your greatist performance car but a nice car none the less] Anyway, we just walked back to our car when a civic hatchback rolls up next to us and starts to rev his engine up. Now my friend, mike[being the genius that he is and not thinking before he speaks] looks over at him and says something along the lines of "nice rice rocket, but i dont think they sell uncle bens here". obiously this offended the guy in the civic, and he started to talk trash. we pretty much just ignored him and went back on our way. we dicided to get on the highway not back on the interstate and travel the last 7 miles in the country. Well of coure the civic followed us. just outside of town there is a 4 way stop that another highway intersects the road that we were on. He dicides to pull up next to us. we rolls down his window and says "three beeps and go. The civic revs his engine, and so do we. then the civic decides to take a cheap shot and goes on the first beep. the civic reves it and launches a good car length or 2 ahead of us.finaly mike guns it. HE had us through first but by the time we hit second we were on his bumper, and by the time we hit third we just pulled away. i dont think it was to bad of a race because the monty was all stock. this is my first reall street race. now im hooked.

Trust me...the addiction only gets worse! I think I used to go leg exercises as a kid so I could smoke my buddies on our BigWheels.

Nice kill in the Carlo, and I agree....they are very nice cars. Let the addiction begin. :evillol:

Should have taken I74 all the way there, a highway race would have been a little bit funner for the higher speeds. Now that you have your new Z28 i'm sure we'll here about some races behind the wheel of that. Good Luck and becareful, cops in Champaign have no sympathy for anyone.

Plenty of times but we got booted from there last summer by the cops. That's why we moved to the old Good Vibes lot, but they tore that up so i dont know where everyone's meeting yet this year...lol...we'll have to take the rest of this conversation to private messages cause i'm sure no one else really cares..
