weird start

all day today when i started the car it would act like it didnt wanna stay running. just for a little bit then its fine. the rpm gaugejumps and jiggles from like 400 to 800.. but in bout 10 seconds its fine. it runs smooth after that. any ideas would be awesome. its an 02 gt.
