Trans swap auto to manual

I have a 1997 escort lx with an auto trans and I was wondering how hard it would be to swap to a 97 escort manual trans?

I did it to my '94. A lot of parts to gather but it all bolts right in.

Ive got a 95 Escort GT hatchback with automatic, im looking to swap it to 5 speed manual. Let me know the approximate cost and how long it took to complete the project.

I did mine at work, so it took me about a weeks worth of lunch hours. My boss's brother owns a wrecking yard and he hooked me up with all the parts in exchange for some aluminum polishing (my occupation) so I'm not sure about the price. One call to the wrecking yard should get ya' all the numbers.

cool cool. I'd like to do that with my 99. Just don't know how difficult it is. I shud do some reserch before i dig myself a hole too deep to fill.
