Most likly it was som one you knew or some one that heard your system in the nabor hood. my nabours dogs(mangy dogs he would never feed or keep lock up) would get in my trash every day for about three months. so one night i put the trash can in front of the window, I wated up with a 22 every night for 6 nights till I killed all 6 of them.the point of the story is with the right bait and a little less sleep you might get to kill that son of a bitch or some one with the same motive.well good luck and happy hunting.
