Engine Light after oil change

Yeh i just changed my oil and filter in my 04 gti. Once i started it up the engine light came up the emissions one i think. What seems to be the problem, is there a reset switch or something? Any input would be appreciated, also how many quarts does a gti take, i poured in 4 quarts, checked the level with the dipstick. Thanks

You might have bumped a sensor wire connector or something. Have the code read, Autozone & Advanced Auto will usually read them for free.
