93 Altima Speedometer ?

My 93 Altima speedometer will register 30-40 mph after you start the engine and are sitting in park. Anybody heard of this and know of a fix??

I think I saw the exact same problem on a different sites forum, but dont recall what the people were saying about it.

there a speed cable take to the shop and get a new one cause my bro crz didi the same thing so check it out other then bye

i had same problem i bought nu sender but still stuck, might b reed switch. i'm buying an aftermarker speedometer

these have an electronic speed sensor, so disregaurd the cable speech
