For a 1995-1999 Eclipse, What are the differences between the USDM engine and the JDM engine?

The only real difference is the intake manifold and the ecu is slightly different. The intake manifold can not be used in the US cars, because we don't seem to be able to use the butterfly valves properly. The JDM is still a 4G63 and it still is a 2.0 L. The reason it says 220 hp in like the ads is the cyclone intake mani, which won't work on ours, so it is still 195 like the 1G. The JDM "cyclones" never used the t25, so they are basically 1G engines.

I really don't recomend getting the Cyclone Manifolds from the JDM motors either. Their mainly made for low end, at WOT they chock the motor a little.

There is hardly any difference between the US and JDM 4G63, so like most 4G63 it won't fit.

They are the exact same as a 1G 4G63 motor except for the shitty intake. If you get one put you stock intake on it and it will the same exact thing.
