Recommended idle speed E32 740iL

Would anyone happen to know the recommended idle speed for a 1994 740iL? I have tried the owners manual, Bentley's, and numerous searches. Currently idling at 500RPM in gear - seems a little low. Comments?

600 RPM but I don't recall the source.
