Black Roof BMW M8 CSi Alpina

I am new at this forum. I have a question I cant find the answer anywhere. I have bought an BMW M8 CSi Alpina-96. Absolutly mint condition. Only 35000km. I bought it from a man who runs a Car museum. The car is Red with bi-color red/black leather. Red carpets. BUT! The car have black painted roof (outside) and also just below front window where u have the air "holes" is also black painted. Is that original, is it some special edition, or what is it. Havent seen it before. I will make some photos tomorrow so I can send if someone is interested in to help me.

I know in Europe, there were various 'options' offered for the Alpina so your paint-job wouldn't surprise me. There are a few very special Alpinas and CSi out there with very different paint-jobs. Your car sounds amazing! Love to see a pic...

The interior sounds like the bi-colour ///M offered as part of the BMW Individual Program.

I have a CSi (BMW Individual Lazerblau) - I love it more and more each day :)
