Need advice

I decided to go back to stock on my '95 Integra.

First question:

I had my stocks springs installed and now my front end sits just as low as when I had the lowering springs on. I think the guy that I had do the job may have put on the rear stock springs on the front. Why would it stay low like that if he really did put on the fronts to the front. And by looking at the springs, how do you know which springs is for the front?

Second question:

He couldn't do the back because he couldn't get a bolt off on the lower control arm. I think the bolt seized. Someone had said to me that I may have to get a new lower control arm. Is there a workaround for that?

Sounds like he did something wrong for sure. For the bolt in the rear just use a cutting wheel and cut the nut off and then buy a new bolt. This is assumimg that you are talking about the bolt tha holds the strut to the lower control arm.

Figured it out. They did put the rear on the fronts. I got my money back from the guy. He was really nice about the whole thing and now I have to work on getting the actual fronts on the front installed and still mess with the bolt on the right rear lower control arm. Any suggestions on the bolt?

It was a nightmare! The bolts on both LCA's were seized all the way to the inside. Both ends had to be cut off and the remaining piece was so stuck in there that it took a combination of hammering and drilling to get it out. We (my new mechanic) both got to the point of frustration that we thought it was never going to come out. It took forever, but we got it out. One thing I learned is that for people who have lived in wet or snowy areas better be prepared for bolts being rusted in.
